RF Cable Assemblies
The Infaprim company specializing in the supply of a wide range of components for the construction of antenna-feeder paths (RF and microwave connectors, coaxial cable, antennas, etc.) offers a new type of product — flexible coaxial cable assemblies of high quality in the frequency range up to 40 GHz.
Our production is equipped with high-tech equipment (Switzerland, USA), which ensures strict compliance with the quality of assembly and high repeatability of product characteristics. Using our own components allows us to achieve a tangible competitive advantage both in terms of production time (as a rule, all popular components are available from stock) and in terms of price — the cost of our assemblies is lower than similar offers on the market.
The technological process of manufacturing cable assemblies is represented by the following stages:
- Dimensional cutting of the cable with a fiameter up to 15 mm) is performed with high accuracy on the Schleuniger PowerCut 3700 high-speed automatic;
- Step stripping is performed on a programmable semi-automatic Schleuniger CoaxStrip 5500 with the ability to process cables up to 15 mm in diameter with an accuracy of 0.01 MM;
- To obtain a high—quality solder contact, various types of soldering are used – traditional, pulsed, in a nitrogen environment;
- Crimping of bushings and, in some cases, central contacts is performed on presses of the PCP 2200 model (Switzerland) with high positioning accuracy and stability of the crimping force;
- Infrared heat shrink equipment is used to seal cable assemblies (USA);
- If necessary, the cable assemblies are marked by applying an inscription on the heat shrinkable tube.
The finished products are subject to mandatory inspection for short circuit. Also, at a separate request of the customer, each assembly can be monitored according to KCB, insertion loss and reflection coefficient along the entire length of the cable.
Measurements are carried out on the Agilent PNA N6230C (20 FFc) and Anritsu MS46122B (40 GHz) vector analyzer circuits. The measurement results, presented in the form of graphs or tables, are applied to each cable assembly.
